As part of After School Special: The 2019 School of Visual Arts Alumni Film & Animation Festival, we are pleased to present a screening of the award-winning documentary A Little Wisdom (2017), followed by a Q&A with director/producer Yuqi Kang, co-cinematographer Paola Ochoa, and co-producer/co-cinematographer Amitabh Joshi, all graduates of SVA’s MFA Social Documentary program. The film will be preceded by the TED-Ed short film What Does It Mean to Be a Refugee? by SVA alumna Biljana Labovic (BFA 2001 Animation). The Q&A will be moderated by current student Adam Evans (MFA 2020 Social Documentary Film).
